Inspired by the city that never sleeps, the limited-edition BOOM MP L NEON has a vibrant neon lights design that includes New York’s skyscrapers, an iconic cab, a slice of pizza and the Statue of Liberty. The fun and fresh look – which is endorsed by Lorenzo Musetti – is combined with a highly innovative and more sustainable construction. The racquet contains Torayca 100% bio-circular carbon fibers in accordance with the mass balance approach, which are made from residual cooking oil and forestry waste. The BOOM NEON collection is part of a collaboration between HEAD and Toray that is searching for a more sustainable future for racquet sports. Nothing changes except what matters: while the use of bio-circular carbon fibers will reduce carbon dioxide emissions, this version has the same explosive power - along with the same fun, feel and easy playability - as the regular, in-line BOOM MP L racquet.

The head size at 100 square inches provides a balance of power and control. The sweet-spot is forgiving enough for errant swings while delivering good control when a bigger swing connects. The racquet's weight is lighter and so will provide players with a faster moving frame for easier access to swing speed to generate power and spin as well as enabling easier maneuverability for improved volleys and net play. The frame's balance is head-light thereby enhancing larger and faster swings for increased spin and power potential as well as deft touch at the net.

HEAD's Auxetic technology has a unique construction where the bigger the applied force, the bigger the Auxetic reaction and the more responsive the frame becomes. HEAD has optimized the technology further in the 2.0 iteration to enhance the feel and response for overall comfort and power.
